The Office

But not to us, unfortunately.

One of our faves, The Office's John Krasinski, and Britain's Artist of the Year, Emily Blunt, are engaged.

Reps for the couple have confirmed that they are betrothed. They have been dating since November, 2008.

Mel Gibson has signed up to appear in a new film called The Beaver, which Jodie Foster will direct.

Gibson, 53, will play the role of a depressed man who is comforted by wearing a hand-puppet of a beaver. Sounds perfect for him.

Foster, 46, will play the role of Gibson's wife in the movie as well as directing it.

This will be the third film that Foster has directed after she shot Little Man Tate in 1991 and Home for the Holidays in 1995.

The Office star Jenna Fischer and writer Lee Kirk are engaged.

The actress, 35, and 37-year-old Kirk got engaged while on vacation in Europe and have been dating for a year and half.

In September last year, Fischer called Kirk my 'super-cute boyfriend.’

She was previously married to director James Gunn, but they divorced in 2007. This will be Kirk's first marriage.

Congrats to the happy couple. We love Jenna and wish her all the happiness in the world!

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Emily Blunt (Sunshine Cleaning) reveals herself to be quite the feisty one. We love it!

A few highlights:

On her last name: Just as [Emily] was launching herself into a career as an actress, the singer James Blunt released the single You're Beautiful, and people kept asking her for concert tickets to see her brother perform live. She rolls her eyes. "I'm like, 'He's absolutely not my brother.'"

Well hello....Jim Halpert

The Office's John Krasinski arrived at a press conference for his new film, Away We Go, directed by Kate Winslet's hubby, Sam Mendes.

The sly little smirk gives us goosebumps in all the right places.

We are so jealous of Pam and real gf Emily Blunt right now.

Reveille Productions are clearly trying to create the "It's a Small World" ride equivalent of comedy television show line-ups.

The production company, which is behind the US adaptations of Colombia's Ugly Betty for ABC and Britain's The Office for NBC, has just picked up Iceland's number one comedy show, entitled The Nightshift, and will be adapting it for American television.

John Krasinski, who plays cute goofball Jim Halpert in The Office, has been doing lots of press recently to promote his new movie Away We Go (out June 25th). Naturally, we delved into some of his interviews to see what he’s up to. He may be dating Emily Blunt now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t admire from afar!

In a recent New York Times article, Tina Fey had some words of wisdom for her friend and fellow funny lady Amy Poehler.

Poehler's new show, Parks and Recreation, premieres on April 9th on NBC and Amy plays Leslie Knope, the deputy parks director of a made up town called Pawnee, Ind. It's kind of like The Office, but with a female lead.

Angela Kinsey of The Office has separated from Warren Lieberstein, her husband of eight years.

Her rep says, “Angela and Warren are taking some time apart to figure out what is best for their relationship.”

Angela and Warren have a daughter together who was born last May.

We wonder if it’ll be weird for her on set since Warren’s brother Paul not only stars on The Office as Toby Flenderson, he also executive produces the show.

Awkward.

This is why business and pleasure rarely mix.

For every one good foreign show co-opted for American TV (The Office, Queer as Folk, Three’s Company), there’s a barren wasteland of shows that just suck (Coupling, Kath and Kim, Viva Laughlin).

Now FOX has decided to take a show that was pitch perfect, Absolutely Fabulous, and remake it for American TV.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
