Tori Spelling, 36, will join Kathie Lee Gifford as guest co-host on The Today Show this week, NBC announced.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 cast member will join Gifford in the morning program's fourth hour from Monday to Wednesday.

Spelling, who has also launched a reality series about her own family titled Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood will step into the shoes of co-host Hoda Kotb, who has the week off.

Akon fought back tears as he listened to a song that he had recorded with Michael Jackson before the music legend’s sudden death.

The R&B star shared the track, Hold My Hand, with viewers of The Today Show, this morning.

Struggling to speak, a visibly upset Akon said, "He [Michael] always wanted just to bring people together. That's how the concept [for the song] came about, about holding hands, [making] that connection as one.”

The Jo-Bros (Nick, Joe and Kevin) were in New York City performing on The Today Show this morning.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
