Thriller

It's been nearly a year since Michael Jackson's tragic death, but don't think that his music is going to stop making money any time soon.

His estate just signed the biggest recording deal in history with Sony. Over the next ten years, they will release a two-disc soundtrack to This is It, a disc of unreleased material, and at least five other projects.

The deal could be worth up to $250 million, which is crazy. But the MJ hysteria hasn't died down yet and probably won't be any time soon.

Every year the Library of Congress picks twenty-five films for the National Film Registry that they deem "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." This year they made an odd, but sort of cool choice and included the music video for Michael Jackson's "Thriller" on the list.

Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital yesterday after suffering cardiac arrest at his LA rented mansion, and was pronounced dead shortly after at the UCLA Medical Center.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted today to determine the cause of death, though the results may take weeks.

It is speculated that his abuse of prescription meds was the underlining factor.

High School Musical star Corbin Bleu was snapped leaving ABC Studios in New York City this morning after his appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly.

Is it just us or is he looking a little Michael Jackson these days? Early "Thriller" Michael, not Michael now.

They do have a lot in common: great voices, their love of dance, ambiguous sexuality. We’re not sayin’…we’re just sayin’.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
