Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire and his wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, welcomed their second child on Friday.

Maguire, 33, and Meyer, 31, had their daughter Ruby right around the time of their 2007 wedding and the baby born yesterday is a little boy.

No name has been released as of yet. 

The couple were introduced by Jennifer’s father, Universal Studios head Ron Meyer in 2003. Ron is also the guy who made Tobey an international superstar by casting him as Spidey.

The fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise is gearing up and Tobey Maguire has already signed on for a fourth and fifth film, but The Fang isn’t sure she wants to reprise the role of Mary Jane Watson.

Director Sam Raimi says, “I’m hoping that she is going to come on board and I’ve got a meeting coming up with her. I think she would like to but I don’t want to speak on her behalf.”

It's officially Fall in LA!

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross joined other celebs including Tobey Maguire and Tori Spelling this weekend in bringing their kids out to a pumpkin patch in LA.

It's nice to see that Cross is apparently nothing like Bree Van De Kamp/Hodge in that she doesn't take herself too seriously to be photographed in public with painted-on whiskers.

Our Spidey sense began to tingle last week when photos of Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, having lunch at Fred Segal hit the web. We thought she looked a little plump. Now In Touch is reporting she’s pregnant with the couple’s second child due in October.

They already have one daughter, Ruby, 17 months.
