As previously reported, Anne Hathaway will be playing Judy Garland in the upcoming biopic about the troubled star, titled Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland and based on the biography by Gerald Clarke (Capote).

Neil Patrick Harris aka Doogie Houser is a working actor, again!

Hooray!

NPH just hosted the Tony Awards, and now has landed two movie roles.

And neither will feature White Castle, bummer.

Our favorite teen-genius M.D. will be starring in an indie entitled The Best and the Brightest and will appear alongside Vanessa Hudgens in Beastly.

With all the remakes, we want Doogie Houser, M.D. to hit the big screen.

Make it happen, pretty please!

The love of our life, Keanu Reeves, went to the theater last night to see August: Osage County on Broadway.

After the five-time Tony Award winning show, including Best Play, Keanu stopped to sign autographs for fans.

We wonder if he’ll be ringing in the New Year in Times Square with the Jo-Bros and every other screaming teenager in the Tri-State Area.

Somehow, we kinda doubt it.

The Best Acceptance Speech We’ve Ever Heard: Lin-Manuel Miranda "In the Heights"

Monday June 16, 2008
We can’t think of a better acceptance speech than Lin-Manuel Miranda's after winning the Tony for Best Original Score (In The Heights, which later won Best Musical as well). Miranda wrote the music and lyrics and stars in the show.

We can’t decide if Gina Gershon looks totally tranny as she walks the red carpet at the 62nd Annual Tony Awards in Manhattan, or if she’s bringing Showgirls-glam back.

One thing is for sure, she had some major work done before she showed up.

Botox-alicious.

She looks like the Wicked Witch of the West meets Cristal Connors meets a female impersonator of Joan Collins.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
