He’s been Batman, Jim Morrison and Elvis and now Val Kilmer, 48, wants to be the governor of New Mexico.

Val owns a large ranch there and isn’t just considering a run, he’s turning to his friend Arnold Schwarzenegger (aka The Governator of California) for advice.

The former Iceman says, "I plan to sit down with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I'm approaching this as a serious endeavor. But being famous as an actor is one thing; they take no prisoners in politics."

He should use the Top Gun volleyball scene as his campaign ad. We’d vote for that!

Eagle Eye star Michelle Monaghan and her husband, graphic designer Peter White, welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday.

They named their new daughter Willow Katherine and both mother and child are doing great.

We want to congratulate the new parents, but we have one question: is the kid named after the tree or the totally awesome movie with dwarves and Val Kilmer?

Just askin’.

Val Kilmer attends First Star's Fifth Annual Celebration for Children's Rights held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Yeesh, what happened to him?

Remember how hot he was in the volleyball scene in Top Gun? Those days are soooo over.

He looks crazy. Is he baring his teeth?

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
