Whoopi Goldberg has signed on to play Benjamin Bratt’s ex-wife on several episodes of A&E’s The Cleaner.

That’s gonna require some major suspension of disbelief for the audience.

First, to believe that they were ever a couple and, second, that she would ever let a man like Benji go.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, who welcomed a second daughter on January 6th, have announced they’ve named their new little girl Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.

Seraphina means “fiery one.”

It’s not to be confused with Sarafina, which was a movie starring Whoopi Goldberg.

How you doin’?

Whoopi Goldberg is set to get tranny-licious tonight, ya’ll!

The Oscar winner has been cast to play a man“in the funk-a-fied flesh,” on tonight’s episode of Life On Mars.

Whoopi appears as a ‘70s underground New York radio DJ, complete with Afro wig, Lennon glasses and love beads, who goes by the name of Brother Love Butter.

Can you dig it?

Tune it to see Brother Love Butter on Life on Mars tonight at 10pm on ABC.

Kate Hudson vs. Barbara Walters on The View

Thursday June 12, 2008
The View is such a nightmare these days. Hell must be constant reruns of Rachel Ray and The View at high volume. Luckily, Kate Hudson is a champ and knows how to dodge pesky, prodding questions about her personal life (check out her reaction when they bring up Lance Armstrong). Whoopi looks ready to knock Barbara out. Remember when Babs was a real journalist? The View gives women a bad name.

Denise Richards visited The View this morning to promote her new reality show It's Complicated.

Things got a little more complicated when Whoopi question Denise's decision to include her children on the show, after Richards claims she wants to "protect" them.

When Whoopi calls Denise "Ma'am"? Yeesh. And then Denise plays the "I did this show for my dead mother" card. Tense, uncomfortable and awkward.

Whoopi vs. Denise Richards on The View...Awkward

Wednesday May 21, 2008

Denise Richards visited The View this morning to promote her new reality show It's Complicated.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
