Things are about to really heat up on the island.
Maggie Grace, who played spoiled hottie Shannon Rutherford on Seasons 1 and 2 of Lost, will be returning for the show's final season.
“We’re really excited about having her back on the show,” producer Carlton Cuse recently told Entertainment Weekly, “and we have a good story for her.”
We love how this season of Lost has basically turned into one big class reunion. We say keep 'em coming!
Lost is back this week and we're just as, well, lost as ever. But we're not the only ones. Over twelve million people tuned in to check out the season six premiere this week.
So what's going to happen to Matthew Fox and the gang? Like we have any idea!
For Lost fans, February 2nd's Season 6 premiere represents the beginning of the end for the beloved show.
Or maybe not.
Lost producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof told The Hollywood Reporter recently that fans should expect the show to return in many different forms in the future.
Are you ready to go back to the island? Well, you can go ahead and book your tickets now (just make sure you're riding Oceanic Airlines).
ABC has announced the date of the premiere of the final season of Lost.
According to a statement released by the network earlier this week:
In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, Lost executive producer Damon Lindelof confirmed that Elizabeth Mitchell's character, Juliet Burke, did indeed die during the cliffhanger finale of the ABC show's fifth season.
"The decision to kill Juliet was absolutely brutal," Lindelof told the magazine, adding, "[Carlton Cuse and I] have to really love you to give you a finale death."
Uh, sort of. So you may have already heard that there's going to be a plane crash on Wisteria Lane over at Desperate Housewives. The constant murders, suicides, car accidents, and, oh yeah, the tornado weren't enough. Now an actual plane is going to crash onto the street.
This is one of those rumors we really hope is true.
J.J. Abrams, the man behind Lost and Felicity, is working on a new television series for next season about a pair of married spies.
Neil Patrick Harris may have lost the actual award to Jon Cryer (WHAT?!?), but the show's MC was clearly the big winner last night. It was he most entertaining Emmys show in years, even if the awards were pretty boring.
As if the island isn't hot enough already.
Ridiculously attractive Ian Somerhalder, who played Boone in the early seasons of ABC's Lost and will be starring in The CW's Vampire Diaries in the fall, has revealed at Comic-Con that his character will be returning to island for the show's final season.
We say: the more screen time the better!
Since Boone is dead, it's unknown if he'll return in flashbacks, time jumps or as a phantom (nothing stays buried on the island, after all).
Matthew Fox has vowed to stick to just movies when Lost comes to an end.
Fox reportedly said he wants to stick to movies because it allows him to spend more time with his family.
"I am not going to do television again. I have done two TV shows – Lost and Party of Five – that have each run for six years,” Fox said.
