Tila Tequila Hospitalized After Domestic Dispute

Tila Tequila took another shot at love, and love took her down, literally.

Tila “Tequila” Nguyen was hospitalized on Sunday after a dispute between her and her boyfriend, Shawne Merriman of the San Diego Chargers.

The San Diego Sheriff's Department received a disturbance call from the bisexual reality TV "star" in the wee hours of the morning. She told police she had been choked by Merriman and, when she tried to leave, he physically restrained her.

Nguyen, 27, signed a citizen's arrest warrant accusing the NFL linebacker of battery and false imprisonment.

Merriman waited in a county jail for two and a half hours before being released. He contends that he was simply trying to prevent her from getting behind the wheel while intoxicated.

And this is not the first time Merriman has had some trouble. In 2006, he was suspended for the use of performance-enhancing drugs.

If Nguyen version is true, we hope he spends more than two hours in a holding cell. Violence is never the answer!
