Project Runway's Tim Gunn has joined Oprah in being one of PETA's favorite people of the year by lending his voice to a new video meant to discourage fashion designers from using fur from Chinese rabbits, a country with no animal rights laws.
The video features Gunn's narration playing over gruesome footage of rabbits and foxes being electrocuted and skinned alive, and will be sent to prominent fashion designers such as Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan.
In an interview which goes along with the video, Tim says, "Any designer in the fashion industry who does not want to watch the PETA video and see exactly what happens to animals and how they're treated and how the product that they use comes to the marketplace, I believe, is egregiously irresponsible."
We didn't think we could love Tim Gunn anymore, but this proves us wrong. Maybe PETA should send an extra tape Lindsay Lohan's way while they're at it.
