Tina Fey is being blamed for John McCain and Sarah Palin’s recent slip in the polls. According to the Washington Times, the "Tina Fey Effect" has turned people off the Alaskan governor and her running-mate, presidential candidate John McCain.

The New York Post reports “Presidential impersonators do influence elections, and in this one, Tina Fey is well on her way to ruining Sarah Palin's political career. In a political culture that takes its cues from popular culture, a good impersonator may be worth a million votes… People remember Gerald Ford through the prism of Chevy Chase. Ford was among our most athletic presidents, and he had a wide-ranging knowledge of public-policy issues. But because of SNL, many came to think of him as a buffoon."

Riiight, we see her as an idiot because of Tina Fey’s impersonation, not because the woman is an inexperienced, blundering idiot. It’s all Tina and SNL’s fault that the Republicans are slipping in the polls. It’s got nothing to do with our disastrous economy and the Dow plunging day after day like lemmings off a cliff.

Uh huh.

Tina Fey

Who says truth is stranger than fiction?!

Palin

Give me a break! For that matter give Mc Cain and Palin a break. Tell me, can you actually imagine OBAMA and Biden being in the White House?

Palin

I can see Obama and Biden in the White House way before I can see that old man and the idiot he chose for a running mate in there...

Um, Yes.

Um, Yes.

Palin

I guess its easier to blame Tina than to accept the real truth. Maybe it's because all they worry about is getting the dirt than answering concerning citizens ?'s on how they are gonna handle the economy.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
