Major Twilight Drama

Summit has already announced November 20th, 2009 as the release date for New Moon, the sequel to Twilight, and they don’t care how they get there.

While some say director Catherine Hardwicke was dropped from the project, insiders say she dropped out of the film because it required the director to be in Vancouver by December 15th to start twelve weeks of pre-production for a film that will kick off in March. Apparently Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass, American Pie) likes the idea of running and gunning; he’s expected to take over the franchise.

But other issues abound.

Executives are concerned about the fact that Robert Pattinson’s character Edward Cullen is absent for the majority of the film, as he’s seen as their new cashcow, and they don’t want to rehire baby-faced Taylor Lautner as Jacob, fearing he can’t pull off the strapping werewolf Bella falls for in the second installment.

New Moon is heating up to be a disaster.

If taylor luther OUT then

If taylor luther OUT then i'm not seeing the movie!!! and thats a promise! i think he does an amazing job AT PLAYING JACOB... i love him! and so does many others.. take him out and there will be no movie or profits... trust me. (i'm team jacob!!!)

hell i agree

hell i agree

They can't take taylor out

They can't take taylor out of the movie ,New Moon .
He is the jacob and he is so hott

jacob

taylor luther is just how i pictured jacob to be and is the only one i can picture being jacob. The other guy M Coupen or whatever is not right for the movie. Taylor might have a babyface but the other guy has no body. Taylor in twilight had the right wolf look and body and prsonallity and if he has put on 19lbs then he is going to be just fantastic.

they really should

i think they really should combine new moon and eclipse as one cause new moon would be a short and half way boring movie

They should combine New Moon

They should combine New Moon and Eclipse into one movie.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
