Did Ashley Greene get her facts wrong?

Or is someone back-pedaling?

Yesterday we reported that, according to Greene, one of the franchise’s stars, High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens had auditioned for the role of Leah, a female werewolf, in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

Today we’re hearing that Vanessa never auditioned, the role of Leah might not even be included in the film, that Vanessa isn’t anywhere near the project, deny deny deny.

The reps doth protest too much.

We wonder if the fan backlash was so intense they decided to drop Hudgens or if she really wasn’t ever in the mix.

Only time will tell, but for now Baby V is off the Twilight radar.

Oh, and Ashley, loose lips sink ships...and piss off producers. Less talk from now on.

i agree with whoever wrote

i agree with whoever wrote the comment above mine. they should really give the-not-so-famous actors a chance to0 shone and not involve those bratty actors who want it all.

Thank goodness. vanessa

Thank goodness. vanessa hudgens in the twilight saga? Hah! thats a joke right? i am so glad these rumors are false. no one is happy about this. I dont think there should be any super-popular-i-want-money-hollywooders in the saga anyway. its more of a down to earth subtle character kinda saga. Stick to the not-so-famous actors!!!

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
